A file of material created by the English Heritage Scientific Dating Team consisting of notes, correspondence, section drawings and radiocarbon dating sample details relating to a site on the Axminster Bypass Road (A35). The site is adjacent to the River Yarty and the samples are described in the file as waterlogged organic material from a silted watercourse. The radiocarbon dating of such samples enhances the understanding of prehistoric alluvial sequences of the River.
