Remarkable survival of a textile factory c1790. Long term heritage at risk site with significant improvement in the last few years. A manufacturing business, office space, events venue, bar/restaurant, retail units and holiday accommodation have been created. Historic England grant for the repair of the main mill building roof is due to complete summer 2021. Further phases of repair work are required other buildings/areas of the site. The owner is working with Historic England, the Local Authority and Heritage Trust to secure viable uses and funding for remaining areas of the site.
