Delves Hall (otherwise known as Doddington Castle), Doddington Park, Doddington - Cheshire East (UA)

C14 tower with late C16/early C17 external stair. Roofed. Located 500 metres north of Doddington Hall in parkland. After suffering from heavy woody vegetation growth and root damage, erosion and cracks the parapet walls is unstable. Roof and gutters are allowing unrestricted water into the interior. Urgent repairs are needed. Discussions with the local planning authority and the land agent are ongoing about securing the necessary repairs. The scaffolding has been erected to restrict outward movement of the walls.
