Masters House, Warwick - Warwick

The Leper Hospital of St Michael was founded in the C12: the Master's House survives and is a timber framed building of C15 date built upon C12 foundations. The timber frame and roof covering are in very poor condition and Urgent Works were undertaken by the District Council in 2019 to keep the building weatherproof and maintain its structural stability. Warwick District Council, Platform Housing Group and the West Midlands building Preservation Trust plan to acquire the site and develop the Master's House, St Michael's Chapel and the surrounding site for unsupported social housing.
