Abbey Mills Pumping Station (Station C) with associated Valve House, Abbey Lane E15 - Newham

Pumping station 1910-14, white stock brick with terracotta and moulded stone dressings. The internal pumping floor is sunk deep below ground level. Remedial works are planned to ensure that the building remains wind and watertight. Listed Building Consent has been granted and these works will commence summer 2024. Long-term proposals for the re-use of the building are being explored.
