House. Early C18 altered and extended early Cl9. Red brick, hipped slate roof behind panelled parapet. 2-storeys, S. front original work of 5 bays with brick Doric pilasters each side supporting sections of entablature with triglyph frieze, linked by main cornice, all in moulded brick. Windows segmental headed sashes with altered glazing. 2 bays added on RH in matching materials and detail, probably early C19. Early Cl9 entrance on W. front in yellow brick with 6 panelled entrance door in double stepped semicircular arched opening, 2 similar blank arches on S. elevation;moulded cornice and rendered parapet. Interior Plaster dome within porch; central C18 oak staircase with elaborate newels of fluted Doric columns, turned balusters 3 to a tread, moulded handrail swept up at each landing, and bottom steps sweeping round in wide scroll. Panelled dado. 2 ground floor panelled rooms on S. front one with bolection moulded fireplace surround, the other with late C18 grey and white marble fireplace.
