BINGLEY LEEDS AND LIVERPOOL CANAL Aqueduct over Morton Beck at SE1003 4120 (that part which lies in Bingley) II

Canal aqueduct. c1770-73 when this section of the canal was constructed. James Brindley/John Longbotham, engineers. Coursed stone. Single segmental- headed arch with impost bands. Parapet to towpath side only with squared stringcourse beneath. Coping to both sides, that to towpath side parapet ridged. The other part of the aqueduct lies in the parish of Keighley.
