Description

This image seems to be part of a batch that were taken in preparation for a Laing staff outing to Weymouth, which was to take place on 5th June the following month. The images were published in a pamphlet which detailed the programme for the day including travel arrangements, catering and afternoon activities. The pamphlet also celebrates the fact this outing is taking place in Laing's Centenary Year, with a page dedicated to the history of the firm and another with a message from J. W. Laing.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
