Description

This photograph was taken during an early phase of the construction of Coventry Cathedral which included demolition, site clearance, excavation and pile driving. The first foundations were laid on Monday 7th March 1955.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
