Description

The photograph shows the ruins of the Cathedral Church of St Michael in Coventry, badly damaged by bombing in 1940 and the new cathedral in the background, built between the mid-1950s to 1962 and consecrated on 25th May 1962.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
