These houses were built around 1825 and designed by Amon Wilds and Charles Augustin Busby. They face the sea and are good examples of a style of architecture known as Seaside Regency. They have a rounded shape from roof to basement. The roofs are hidden behind a parapet. They are covered in stucco (a type of plaster) painted white.
