Hearse House, 42, Market Street, Chapel en le Frith, Derbyshire

This undertaker's cartshed was built in 1818 and is now a garage. The stone plaque says 'Hearse House/Erected 1818. Samuel Grundy, Minister. Stephen Bellott and Adam Fox, Martinside - Churchwardens'. A hearse is used to carry coffins to a church for burial.
