Paston Great Barn, Bacton Road, Paston, Norfolk

The great Paston Barn is generally regarded as the best in the county. It is dated 1581 and has the inscription 'THE BILDING OF THIS BEARNE IS Bl SIR W PASTON KNIGHTE'. It is all that remains of the old Paston Hall buildings. The hall was the first and chief seat of the Pastons, a noted Norfolk family.
