Purdown Hospital, Stapleton Grove, Bell Hill, Bristol

Purdown Hospital was established in 1916 and closed in the 1990s. It was a mental health hospital. The tower dates to the mid 18th century. It was probably a folly built as part of Thomas Wright's landscape park for Stoke Park House.
