Regional Government Headquarters, Hack Green, Baddington, Cheshire

During the Cold War, bunkers were built to serve as the seats for the regional civil administration in the event of a nuclear strike. Good communications would be essential both to govern and to co-ordinate a response. The equipment in this communications room was state-of-the-art in the 1960s and '70s.
