Roman Mosaic, Fishbourne, West Sussex

Fishbourne Roman Villa was a very grand Roman villa. It was discovered by accident in 1960 and extensively excavated, and the site opened to the public in 1967. This is one of the moasaics they found during the excavations. It shows cupid riding on a dolphin, surrounded by seashorses.
