St Thomas' Hospital, Albert Embankment, Lambeth, London

St Thomas' Hospital was rebuilt on its present site in 1868-71, at the same time that the Albert Embankment was laid out. The Embankment is lined with serpentine lamp standards. Westminster Bridge can be seen in the distance.
