The Old Grammar School, 39 Barn Street, Lavenham, Suffolk

This house is attached to several other 16th century timber-framed buildings. It was purchased in 1647 as a Grammar School. Among the pupils were the famous pastoral artist John Constable, RA and Arthur Young. The school closed in 1887.
