A late 15th century Wealden hall house restored around 1910. It has a timber frame. The areas between the timbers are plastered and it sits on a brick base. The roof is steeply pitched and tiled. It has a late 16th century brick chimneystack. The name of the property comes from a paper mill that stood at the beginning of the drive in the 19th century.
