Tynemouth Station, Tynemouth, Tyne and Wear

This railway station was built in c1882 by William Bell of the North Eastern Railway Company in a 'Gothic' style of architecture. It is a fine example of a large-scale 'excursion' railway station, designed for day-trippers.
