Description

The photographer's notes state: 'General view eastwards from almost the same spot as the No 1101 photo. Houses in the village street (E. side) are as follows from L. to R.; Nos 11 & 10; Nos 9, 8 & 7; Nos 6, 5, 4 & 3, and Nos 2 & 1. Then comes the school building. On the extreme right is the parish church'. [No 1101 photo refers to BB71/09056]

The village street is now known as Main Road.

The footpath from which this photograph was taken links the west side of Main Road (opposite St Paulinus' Church) and Sevenoaks Way (formerly the Orpington Bypass).
