Description

The photographer's notes state: 'In the verandah of the west front of the house looking N.N.W. Laburnum in the foreground on left'.

Effingham Lodge was located on the west side of the High Street, opposite the Rookery and to the south of Spring Hall. It was demolished some time after the Second World War.
