Description

The engraving shows figures employed in the bone yards in Lambeth moving buckets and sacks along the road, with one figure crossing the street on a walkway suspended between two buildings.

The same buildings appear to be shown in BB94/20542, although these are identified on the negative as being in Fore Street. As the entire area was redeveloped in the 1860s, it has not been possible to confirm which of the two streets are shown.

The paragraph of text is not included on the print.
